Meet Archie: The Fluffy Face Behind Archie's Haus 🐾

Big paws. Bigger personality. The biggest heart.

Let's be honest. We might be the ones writing the blogs, cooking the meals, and decorating the house, but we all know who's really in charge around here.

Meet Archie, our almost five-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, professional napper, full-time treat enthusiast, and the very handsome face behind Archie's Haus.

And yes, he knows he's adorable.

How Archie Became Part of Our Family ❤️

We adopted Archie in February 2025, and to say he's completely stolen our hearts would be an understatement.

From the moment he joined our family, it was pretty clear that this big, fluffy gentleman was going to fit right in.

Archie has the sweetest soul. He's gentle, loving, a little goofy, and essentially a giant teddy bear disguised as a dog. He loves his dads, loves being wherever we are, and has absolutely mastered the art of making us feel guilty for not giving him our undivided attention.

And is he spoiled? Absolutely. Rotten.

Do we plan on changing that? Not a chance.

A Big Fluffy Guy With Some Very Strong Opinions

Archie is pretty easygoing, but there are a few things he takes VERY seriously.

First, spending time with his dads. Whether we're working, relaxing, cooking dinner, or trying to accomplish literally anything around the house, Archie is never too far away.

Second, being comfortable. He's a big believer in rest, relaxation, and making himself right at home.

And third? Cold weather.

Y'all, this dog was MADE for fall and winter.

Fall Is Here, but Archie Is Ready for Snow! ❄️

While we're over here enjoying cozy sweaters, fall recipes, and everything pumpkin spice, Archie is living his absolute best life now that the temperatures are dropping.

But fall is just the opening act.

Snow is Archie's Super Bowl.

Seriously. Nothing makes this big guy happier than cold temperatures and a fresh blanket of snow.

While the rest of us are bundled up wondering why we live somewhere with freezing winters, Archie is ready to move outside permanently.

And honestly? Watching him enjoy the colder weather is one of our favorite things.

So, Why Archie's Haus?

Because a house just isn't a home without a little love, a lot of personality, and apparently, an unbelievable amount of dog hair.

When we started Archie's Haus, we wanted to create a space celebrating everything we love: good food, beautiful homes, thoughtful finds, family traditions, and the everyday moments that make life special.

And Archie represents so much of that.

He reminds us to slow down, enjoy the little things, get outside, love unconditionally, and occasionally take a really good nap.

He's our mascot, our best buddy, our favorite four-legged family member, and the heart behind this little corner of the internet.

Life is simply better with Archie in it.

You'll be seeing plenty more of Archie around here, whether he's supervising our latest home project, patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for dinner, enjoying a beautiful fall day, or living his absolute best life in the snow.

We can't promise he'll always be on his best behavior, but we can promise he'll always be ridiculously cute.
